Hi, this is my first post even though I've been reading this board for a long time. Not been an official member here long though. I'm a HUGE Altec fan and own a couple of pairs (1208B and modified 1202b). Also own three Altec 9444a/sa amps. I recently found a pair of speakers locally (within 50 miles or so) that say they are LOUD, etc... There appears to be four 511B horns and two 15 inch bass bins with the woofers. They are 6 foot tall with both horns on top of the bass bin and 24 inches wide. I can get these dirt cheap and they work perfectly. Does anyone know what the bass bins are by just looking? Do you think they are Altec, JBL or something else??? Thanks for having such a great place to discuss Altec equipment.
